Gimme Credit Screenplay Competition PosterAmy Breunig was a semi-finalist screenwriter in the Los Angeles, Gimme Credit Screenwriting Competition, Cycle IV in May 2007, with her children's drama, Tennis Shoes.

Amy has entered another short screenplay in Cycle VI, with high hopes of winning. The results will be announced in December 2007. Keep your eyes and ears open for further updates!

Tennis Shoes, the Cycle IV semi-finalist screenplay, is about a young girl who is tormented by her family and friends about getting the "right kind" of tennis shoes. As the lead character dreams in animation, her struggles with her peers, family and within are brought to life. Through the dreaming process, and her daily fighting with her friends and family, she discovers what she truly wants, and finds a way to make it happen.

Amy’s real intention for Tennis Shoes is to help children to see past their daily pressures and to seek new solutions. These solutions bring inner and outer peace.

Amy is now searching for her own solutions, such as investors, production crews and printers, as to be able to put together the film and story of Tennis Shoes. Please contact Amy to inquire about becoming a partner or an investor.

"I believe that peace is what the world needs and desires, and it always starts from within."
